How to identify the relevant UI_COMP data based on second level Navigation links

Print Friendly

To continue with my series of extreme useful queries in the context of SAP CRM Authorization Administration, allowing you to quickly identify the relevant UIU_COMP authorization values needed in order to grant or withdraw access to particular navigation links with the SAP CRM WEBUI, I created a short tutorial for you.

Relevant Tables for my SQVI Query:

  • CRMC_UI_ROLE_WC
  • CRMC_UI_LLINK_T
  • CRMC_UI_LLINK
  • CRMC_UI_COMP_IP

When I refer to navigation links I mean those that are defined within your navigation bar profile and are visible in the SAP CRM WEBUI on for example:

  • the work Center Page
Navigation Links on the Work Center Page
  • Search related navigation links that you usually find when clicking on the black arrow of a work center (when available)

What I also explain the document is how you can simply deactivate (hide) these navigation links (for every user that uses a particular business role) via business role customizing.

cheers
